Why BiteBye exists
It was the third bug of the day.
I'd been staring at the same error for two hours. Without realizing it, my hand was already at my mouth.
That's how it goes when you spend all day coding. Stress builds up, the habit kicks in, and by the time you notice — you've already done it.
I tried everything. Bitter nail polish. Band-aids. Phone alarms. "I'll stop this time."
Nothing worked.
Because the problem isn't willpower. It's that the habit is unconscious. By the time your brain registers what you're doing, 30 seconds have already passed.
So I built BiteBye.
An app that uses my laptop camera to detect when my hand moves toward my mouth — and alerts me at the exact moment it happens. Not after. Not in a report. Right then.
If you're a developer, designer, writer — anyone who spends hours in front of a screen and bites their nails without meaning to — I built this for you.
Your camera is yours.
AI runs on your computer. No images saved. No cloud. No internet.
